A mixed-media portrait of a dark-haired young woman on canvas, rendered with fine-line marker or ink for the face and hair layered over loose, gestural acrylic passages in vivid orange-red, cobalt blue, and deep green. The tightly observed figurative drawing of the subject anchors a volatile abstract background built from broad brushed planes, textured collage-like areas, black splatters, and looping magenta linework.
One of 14 drawings from this night. The 12 on sale as one unframed set: $504 instead of $720.
