A bust-length portrait of a figure looking slightly upward, built from rapid, layered gestural marks in colored pencil or wax crayon across a white ground. Strokes of red-orange, ultramarine blue, purple, and teal are cross-hatched and scribbled to model the face, neck, and shoulders without a single dominant contour line.
