Two nude figures are drawn side by side on a spiral-bound sketchbook page using rapid, overlapping gestural strokes: the left figure is built up in graphite with warm accents of orange and magenta, its face rendered with visible intensity; the right figure is traced almost entirely in cool teal and purple crayon lines, leaning or arching with the torso bent back. The medium appears to be graphite pencil layered with coloured oil pastels or wax crayons, applied at speed in a continuous-contour manner.
