A three-quarter profile of a figure with close-cropped hair, head tilted back and gaze directed upward, rendered in charcoal on white paper. The artist uses vigorous cross-hatching to build tonal mass in the hair and shadow areas while leaving the face and shoulders largely as spare, confident line-work.
