A frontal portrait of a human face constructed entirely from dense, looping scribble marks in dark blue-black, teal, orange, and red pens or markers on white paper, with no conventional outline or blended shading. Form and tone emerge through the layered accumulation of gestural strokes, the darkest marks concentrating around the eyes, nose, and mouth while warmer hues suggest hair and skin.
One of 8 drawings from this night. The 7 on sale as one unframed set: $332 instead of $420.
