A female bust rendered entirely in dense, looping continuous lines of yellow, dark navy, and red pen or marker on a stark white ground, with the tangled strokes condensing into legible facial features — particularly the eyes and red-accented lips — before dissolving into sparse gestures across the chest and shoulders. The layered scribble technique builds three-dimensional form through accumulated mark-making rather than conventional shading or contour.
One of 8 drawings from this night. The 7 on sale as one unframed set: $332 instead of $420.
