A standing figure with hands raised near the head is defined by bold, rapid black ink contour lines drawn over a densely layered field of horizontal and looping multicolored marker strokes covering the full visible spectrum. The vibrating chromatic ground — built from short parallel hatches and scribbled loops in red, yellow, blue, green, and violet — pushes against the stark black line work to create an energetic, expressionistic portrait.
One of 18 drawings from this night. All 18 as one unframed set: $756 instead of $1,080.
