A seated or crouching nude figure is decomposed into irregular angular planes by rapid, confident black marker lines, each facet filled with dense directional hatching in colored pencil spanning orange, yellow, green, pink, blue, and gray. The technique fuses cubist fragmentation with stained-glass chromatics, using the white paper ground as an active element in the composition.
One of 18 drawings from this night. All 18 as one unframed set: $756 instead of $1,080.
