A rapid gestural ink study of a nude figure seen from behind, the torso and shoulder-blades built up through dense crosshatching and staccato pen marks that carve shadow and volume from the cream paper. The hooded head dissolves into abstracted hatching at the top while the lower body breaks apart into an energetic tangle of loose strokes, giving the piece the quality of a live-session capture at speed.
One of 18 drawings from this night. All 18 as one unframed set: $756 instead of $1,080.
