A female bust and torso rendered in rapid, overlapping marker strokes on a white ground, with dense black linework building the head and hair and loose magenta horizontals energising the background; blue and amber accents thread through the hair and neck, leaving the torso largely unpainted to create contrast. The work is a gestural speed-drawing, exploring form through accumulation of line rather than contour or shading.
