Untitled (May 2017)

A gestural charcoal figure study depicting a nude person seen from behind with head bowed and both hands raised to cover the face, conveying grief or deep introspection. Multiple layered exploratory lines build the form, with confident dark massing in the hair and upper back that fades to lighter, more tentative marks toward the lower torso.
