A female nude figure drawn from a three-quarter back angle, head bowed and hair cascading dynamically, rendered almost entirely in rapid overlapping hatching and loose contour lines in charcoal or soft graphite on white paper. The mark-making is highly gestural, building form through cross-hatched tone rather than blended shading, giving the piece intense kinetic energy.
