A seated male figure rendered in charcoal on white paper, head slightly bowed and hands resting forward on the knees, conveying a mood of introspection or fatigue. The marks are bold and gestural — dense in the head and torso, dissolving into loose, rapid strokes in the lower limbs — characteristic of a timed life-drawing session.
One of 19 drawings from this night. The 13 on sale as one set: $546 instead of $780.
