Two overlapping gestural studies of the same or similar figure — one with the head thrown back in profile, the other crouching or seated with a hat — drawn rapidly in charcoal and loose ink line on warm cream or toned paper, with selective tonal blocking that anchors the head while the rest dissolves into spiraling marks. The layering of poses on a single sheet gives the composition a kinetic, multi-exposure quality consistent with short-pose life-drawing practice.
